The PPTA Acute Care Special Interest Group is a state-wide volunteer organization that brings together PTs and PTAs who share an interest in the evidence-based care of acute care patients.

PPTA Acute Care SIG Award

Nominations are now open for the PPTA SIG Awards! 

The awards for each SIG recognize a physical therapist or physical therapist assistant that is a member of APTA/PPTA and has made meaningful contributions to physical therapy at the individual, chapter, or national level in the practice area supported by the SIG. The contributions can be in any of the following areas:

  • Excellence in patient care or clinical practice
  • Excellence in education or research 
  • Community advocacy

If you would like to recognize a colleague for excellence in acute care, please submit a letter of nomination and the candidates resume/CV (preferred, not required) through the PPTA SIG Award nomination form by Wednesday, July 15.
