PPTA Research Fund Information/Application

Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association Research Fund Award  
Purpose: 
The major function of the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association Research Fund Award is to promote and support research studies relative to clinical practice.  This is provided through grants for approved activities. 

Eligibility: 
  1. The principal investigator(s)/project director must be a member in the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association.
  2. The research study must relate to physical therapy.
  3. Requests for grant funds for research studies that have been completed prior to the application deadline
    date for which the request is submitted are ineligible for funding.  Research studies will be considered completed
    if data collection and data analysis are complete by the application deadline date.
  4. Priority will be given to new investigators. 
Award Limits: 
The current maximum award amount is: $1,000.00. 
 
Awarding of Grants: 
The PPTA Research Committee will review all grant applications and make a recommendation to the Board of Directors.  The Board of Directors have the final approval of all grant applications. 

Deadlines: 
Applications must be received by: July 15,  of year in which you apply
Applicant will be notified by: September 15, of year in which you apply
