by Jeffrey Rothman | Mar 29, 2017

Numerous PPTA Members and Physical Therapy Students took part in the APTA's Federal Advocacy Forum in Washington, DC March 26-28, 2017 to meet with legislators and policy makers to advocate on behalf of the profession and its patients.

Your participation in advocacy is important! We must keep the issues that impact physical therapists and patients a priority for Congress!

Please contact your local federal Representative and Senator via the APTA Action App (via phone) or the APTA Legislative Action Center or visiting/calling their local or national office in person to request their support for the Medicare Access to Rehabilitation Services Act (House Bill #807/Senate Bill #253) and Access to PT Services in Rural and Underserved Areas (House Bill #1639/Senate Bill #619).

Members included: Jeffrey Rothman (PA Federal Advocacy Liaison), John Lockard, Paul Rockar, Mark Reitz, John Tawfik, Scott Voshell, Claire Peasley, J. Kinsinger, and Temple PT Students Victoria Wrightson and Nicole Notardonato (not pictured Ronald Peacock from Slippery Rock University)
